Overview - The "new world economy" -more global, more information-based, and more rapidly changing than ever before-marches on, bringing unprecedented opportunity to developed and undeveloped societies. Yet, there are still many undeveloped societies that are not part of this new world economy. Nowhere is this truer than in Africa, where starvation, health crisis, abject poverty, education and unemployment are widespread.
AfriHope International, Inc. (AHII) was formed in response to the catastrophe that exit in undeveloped nations. AHII's mission is to promote technology, provide medical supplies and equipment to public hospitals and economic development.
The Organization - AfriHope International, Inc. (AHII) was formed as a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation, 501(3)(c) in 1994 in Boston, Massachusetts. To meet AHII's goals and to develop a strong lasting organization, AHII has collaborative relationships with educational institutions, national and international development agencies, public and private donors.
The Program - Most African countries have been repeatedly racked by civil war, repressive governments, floods, famine, abiding poverty and lack of education. AfriHope International, Inc. has made contacts with governments, non-governmental organizations and businesses in Africa. AHII's projects encompasses the following but not limited to:

from public and private sources, both in and outside the United States.
We are also seeking in-kind contribution of refurbished computers, computer
accessories, medical supplies and equipment and volunteers who are able
and willing to assist in attaining the mission of AfriHope.
